Mighty E’s moving is a small business located in Northwest Austin. My name is Eliot Partridge and I opened in 2003. I’ve been moving since 1994 and still enjoy getting out in the field and serving customers. I consider myself and my helper, to be part of a great best movers in Austin, collection of movers. Most jobs I quote on an hourly basis with a small trip/truck charge. Some jobs can be given a ceiling price right from the get go, with enough details. Say like a one bedroom apt move for Austin to Dallas or Houston.. Or a 3 bedroom home In town after I’ve either got photos or have done a walk through to determine . Moving a washer and dryer, refrigerator or sofa set is usually always done on a flat rate, quoted prior to the move.

Moving labor only/Loading or unloading

If all you need is a couple of guys to help pack your truck or container .. Or unpack, we can definitely do this as well. It’s important to have enough blankets to protect your belongings with. Uhaul and Penske have options to rent these. Penske seems to be more definite, upfront, with scheduling, equipment etc in my experience. However, they are more expensive usually but are great. Uhauls equipment has always been great but the timing and arrangement of pick ups, equipment, supplies, can be a little shaky. They are inexpensive though and have always come through in the end. Packing services

If you have a shipping container to load or unload, it’s basically the same idea. The spots to tie off the rope for securing the load can be a little more tricky. Over all though, I haven’t heard anyone complain about much with them. Just keeping the load from shifting from stopping the door from opening is all the problems I’ve heard about.

Here is a link to a place I’ve been going to for 20 years. They have just about everything you might need for preparation of a move. I/we also can do a full packing service and I bring the supplies and don’t mark up the prices. I bring large Gondola boxes on every move, regardless. These are very helpful with closets, extra storage and possible garage and yard items. They can be dollied or slid up or down stairs.
