During the winter months, moving prices go down and I will negotiate if you’d care too. I also do small jobs alone at times, which is much cheaper per hour. I normally have a small trip/truck/fuel charge as well. Somewhere around 50.00 bucks.

Cost of moving from Houston to Austin
I do moves all over the state as well. Small moves to large moves in Texas. Most of the charge on these is the mileage. Say a 2 bedroom apartment move, with some stairs, packed up and ready, from Austin to Corpus Christi. A 220 miles with 4 hours of loading and unloading time: 1560.00.
Or, say the same destination from Austin but it’s a small efficiency apartment move and it’s all one man items. (One man items, meaning nothing that requires a helper to load or unload). This would be more like: 1100.00 to 1200.00.
Or, A 3 bedroom house that needed some packing and dis assembly and re assembly of beds, mirrors on dressers. Say a washer and dryer and refrigerator.. Getting it all on my trailer is possible for a smaller 3 bedroom. In that case, more around 1800.00 to 2000.00. If a full pack/unpack job was needed, then 2500.00 to 3500.00 depending on the time to prepare, supplies and overall details..

https://www.texanbox.com/ is the main place I go to for supplies. They have just about everything you will need supplies wise.. If you are a person who likes to pack their own belongings. There is also half price boxes and Lowe’s and Home depot also have great quality, heavy duty boxes. They are a little more expensive but I find it’s worth the money for certain things.
I also use what are called Gondola boxes. These are triple thick 49″ by 28″ by 22″ boxes with an open top. I bring these on pretty much every job I do. They are very useful for moving all the items of a walk in closet or closets in general. Also, sometimes people have small storage closets or items in their garage.. Or bedding, small pillows, Monitors or TV’s wrapped up in a moving blanket as well.. or pictures. There is a lot they can be used for and moving and packing can be a hassle. These help to tie up loose ends and can be slid, to and up and down stairs. They can also be moved with a 2 or 4 wheel dolly.
