Hello! My name is Eliot, I’ve been a mover since 1994. We do small efficiency apartment moves and in-house room to room, to moving 40 grand pianos across the state. Mostly I get calls for smaller/medium sized moves. Apartments and houses, storage and small offices. I still do moves, from and to Austin, from other cities as well. Austin to Houston for example.

Packing service and supplies
Texan box is a place I have gone to for 20 years. They have pretty much everything you need for moving supplies. there is also half price boxes and Home depot and Lowe’s. Lowe’s has some nice heavy duty boxes. They are more expensive but if you’re moving china or other fragile items, they are great.
Small moves Professional movers Austin
If all you have to re locate, is a small apartment, office or storage, I have great prices on this. A lot of times I can do these jobs alone which negates the price of a helper. I have almost 30 years experience and different types of dollies and plenty of blankets. Also, straps and bungee chords to secure your items. The price for these that I can do alone starts at 250.00 for 2 hours. 2.5 hours ends up being just under 300.00 and 340.00 for 3 hours. If I bring a helper, that starts around 325.00 to 375.00 for 2 hours.. Depending on what part of town you’re in and heading to, will affect the trip charge and time somewhat.
An average 2 Bedroom apartment, from a 2nd floor to a 2nd floor, no long walks, is normally 2.5 to 3.5 hours. This price is based on the customer being packed up and ready, beds broken down etc.
Should you need help packing or preparing we can definitely help with this part as well! I bring large Gondola boxes on every move. I can help transfer walk in closets, closets, pillows, pictures etc and other loose items that have not been prepared. If there are items that are more fragile, these are best packed into boxes or totes. Protecting the items with paper or bubble wrap is great to help insure safe transport.
