I specialize in smaller moves at this point. Efficiency apartments, one bedrooms, two bedrooms. Storage units and smaller offices. (I can definitely handle larger, 2 and 3 truck moves as well). An average 1 bedroom apartment move, from downtown Austin to Central Houston, costs between 950.00 and 1400.00. The length of walks, stairs and your preparation affect the time. Also whether or not I need to take a helper with me.

Supplies – A place I have used for 20 years, Texan box, should you care to pack your own items. They have pretty much everything you need to prepare properly.
Packing services available
I also use large Gondola boxes for transporting closet, loose storage or garage items. These are a big help to use, instead of packing a walk in closet into a bunch of smaller boxes. I load up all your items into the box, dolly it to the stairs or elevator and slide it down. Then dolly it to the truck.
If this is not a method you are comfortable with, regular box packing method is great! Also using my moving blankets to safely transfer hanging clothes is something I used to do a lot. Should you like to have me/us pack everything, it’s totally available.
