Hello and thanks for checking out my Blogs – Mighty E Moving page. Whether you need a couch moved across your living room or a house moved across the state, we can do it. There are many Austin Movers to choose from, in different areas of town. Mighty E’s is a small business and I’m on every job. Most moves are a 2 man crew, myself and my helper. Some folks like a 3 man crew as well and some smaller jobs I do alone. I have 28 years experience and started my business in 2003. Link

Basic pricing

Most jobs are billed on an hourly basis, with a small trip/fuel charge. A 2 man crew, this time of year is 120.00 pr hour and it’s a 2 hour minimum. On smaller jobs, like a washer n dryer move, I do flat rates without a minimum depending on the length of drive and difficulty. On out of town jobs, I do a mileage charge and then an hourly charge for the loading and unloading time. There’s no hourly charge during the drive. On jobs that only require us loading or unloading, The rate is the same as if I brought my truck, trailer, blankets etc. We always show up with dollies and other necessities, either way. There is a small trip/travel charge as well which varies depending on the parts of town.

Packing / Supplies / Unpacking

Here is a link to a supply store I’ve been going to for 20 years. If I were to do your packing along with your move, I don’t mark up the prices and get discounts. The packing portion of a 2 bedroom apartment usually takes 2 to 4 hours . The supplies are 60 to 100 dollars. I also use large gondola boxes on every job, if needed. These help to consolidate items that were not able to be put in smaller boxes . Walk in closets, regular closets, storage items, garage items, pillows, pictures.. The gondola boxes work great for these items I’ve found but it’s the customers choice.
