A basic 2 bedroom apartment move in Northwest Austin this time of year, usually runs between 325.00 to 500.00. 3rd floors, long walks, lengthy dis assembly/ re assembly or extra packing can add to the time. 120.00 pr hour is my current rate and a small trip charge (20.00 to 50.00) So a 3.5 hour move is 440.00 to 490.00. Storage moves
A basic 10 by 15 storage that is fairly organized, up an elevator moving to a 2nd floor is usually a 3 to 4 hour job. The length of walks comes into play but a lot of times they have carts which speeds things up. I have large Gondola boxes to load smaller loose items into and roll these on 4 wheel dollies. I can dolly these up stairs at the unload and they are also great for helping to tie up loose ends on any type of move.
Office moves
Some office moves are incredibly fast and have minimal furniture and boxes. However, some can take two trips, have long walks, dis assembly and re assembly, etc. It’s definitely something we can do but I’m probably better suited for smaller offices.
House moves
A 3 bedroom house can be fit on my trailer a lot of times but not always. If the move is within the same part of town, it’s expeditious to float load (keep everything well padded and tied down) the trailer. If there is a question of it all fitting in one trip, this is a decent method for completing the move safely and in a reasonable time. I always get details upfront from the customer, in order to make sure they are aware of the possibilities of a second trip. I also can use the bed of my pick up truck (weather permitting). There is always the option to rent another truck if the move is going across town. To complete 1 full load, packed tight is usually around 4.5 to 5 hours. This includes some dis assembly and re assembly.
