Packing / Supplies / Unpacking
Texan box has been my main packing supplies warehouse for probably 20 years. Here is a link to their website. They have everything you most likely will need for your move. Should you decide to hire me for your move and need assistance with packing, I will bring the supplies and don’t mark the cost up. A normal one bedroom apartment pack job take somewhere around 1.5 to 3 hours. A small house is usually 5 to 6 hours. If there is extra storage, attic or garage items.. Depending on the amount, it can add a substantial amount of time but i have large gondola boxes that help expedite the process. There is no extra charge for this, beyond the hourly rate. I use these boxes on just about every move for one thing or another.
Basic rates
This time of year a 2 man crew is around 120.00 per hour, with a small trip/ fuel charge. I don’t do any other surcharges, unless there is a piano or extra large, heavy or fragile items. Surcharges are rare.
Long distance moves
On out of town moves, I do a mileage charge for the drive and then hourly.. The hourly is only during the load/unload time.
For example, a 1 bedroom first floor apartment move, from 78759 to Waco, would be right around 750.00 . However, there are times when someone might only have a smaller bedroom set and some boxes, a small couch, tv and washer n dryer. These moves I often times can do solo, which brings the price down approximately 20%.
