MIghty E’s moving offers assistance on household moves, In-house shuffles of items, office moves, storage moves etc. We can do a piece move across your hallway, all the way up to 2 to 3 trucks. A lot of professional Austin moving companies work on an hourly basis with a trip charge. Some will do by the piece or even by weight. I’ve always billed hourly unless its a set amount of pieces and I’m aware of other details. Say someone just wants a washer and dryer moved from one home to another. . A move like that I can usually do a flat rate on.
An average 2 bedroom apartment move cost is somewhere between 400.00 and 700.00 If there are a lot of stairs or long walks, this affects the time. Also, dis assembly and re assembly of beds or other necessary preparation, can affect the time. 3 to 4 hours though, is something myself and my helper do regularly, for a 2 bedroom apartment. Summer time rates are approx 150.00 pr hour, with a trip charge of somewhere around 50.00 dollars.
Long distance moving
On the longer distance moves like Austin to Houston or Austin to Dallas etc. These are mostly charged by the mile. The loading and unloading time is charged along with it at around 100 per hour. We/I do moves anywhere in Texas so if your looking for help going to or from smaller towns, please call!
Packing and unpacking service – Supplies
Most professional moving companies Austin will offer a packing service.
If your someone who likes to pack on your own having the right supplies is helpful. Lowe’s or Home depot is always a solid trip for getting the necessary supplies. I like what they have for some of they’re heavy duty boxes. They are more expensive but are great for packing china and other fragile items. There is also another place I have been going to for a long time called Texanbox.com. They are located in Round Rock and have just about everything needed. Also, Half price boxes has moving supp;lies for good prices as well.
