Small, medium and large moves
Should you just need help with one piece or a few or a smaller job, I sometimes offer flat rates. My normal rate for a one man, two hour minimum, is 250.00 and a 2 man crew is 350.00. During the winter months, moving prices go down some. I’m willing to negotiate on the rates sometimes depending on the jobs. Either way, I make sure to provide quality, cautious service, expeditiously. I enjoy moving people and the exercise! If you care to, please check out my google reviews. If you are moving a one or two bedroom apartment, these are jobs I have a lot of experience with. An average one bedroom apartment, that is prepared and ready, is usually 2 to 3 hours. At times, with stairs and long walks, it can take longer. We do them all the time in 2 or 3 hours, even with stairs. For a 2 bedroom apartment it’s on average an extra 45 min to an hour.
These both have always been one trip.
3 bedroom apartments and houses or larger, can sometimes be two trips but not always. My basic trip charge is 50.00. If it’s a longer drive, then I will add some to the quote. In town, for the most part though, it’s 50.00. When I go out of town to Dallas or Houston etc I do a mileage charge. Then an hourly rate for the loading and unloading time.
Packing services
We can definitely pack you up as well and unpack you if needed. If you are a do it yourself packer, this is a place I use for my supplies. Texan box. They have pretty much everything you need for moving supplies and even dollies and blankets.
