28 years of experience
Hello! My name is Eliot Partridge. I own a small moving business in Austin called mighty E’s moving. We do local and professional long distance moving to and from Austin. Mighty E’s was opened in 2003 and I still have just one crew and am on all my jobs. I have reliable and professional helpers and on some small moves I work alone, with the customers ok. The main equipment I use is a 24 foot trailer I pull with an f250. I’ve got several dozen blankets, extra dollies, Gondola boxes, shrink wrap, tape and straps to secure the load. Photos below..
We also provide packing services. Sometimes there will be a small amount to help wrap up at the load. The Gondola boxes help with this a lot. Should the customer need a full packing service, this is absolutely possible. I just need to know upfront for scheduling. Here is a link to Texan box. I’ve been going tot them for 2o years for my supplies. They have great prices and just about everything needed for a move.
If all you need is help loading or unloading a rental truck or shipping container, that’s something we offer as well. I just always suggest to the customer to rent at least a few dozen blankets. It helps a lot with protecting and securing the items, especially on a longer trip. I like to double pad some items on the long hauls but it’s not a super necessity, it’s just added security.

My Trailer

Loading a U haul with only a few blankets.

She wasn’t able to get very many blankets. We used some boxes and walled/tied off with the mattress and box spring. It made it safely!
Local and Long distance Moving Austin
Please call or email with any moving questions, if you’d like.. I enjoy helping people get their belongings moved safely and as inexpensive as they can. There are often a few options, ways to complete the job. If your a do it yourselfer, it’s understandable but I may be able to offer my services for a price that seems sensible. 512 502 8300.
