The equipment I use for moves, is a 24 ft enclosed trailer that I pull with an F250. On the trailer, there are several dozen blankets, dollies, tie downs, shrink wrap and Gondola boxes. The Gondola boxes are great for loose items from walk – in closets, storage, garage items, etc. They can be slid or dollied up and down the stairs. They’re a great method for wrapping things up in a fairly short amount of time if the customer so chooses. Here are some pictures of my equipment.

If your not sure of what method you will use for your move, sometimes it’s less expensive to rent a truck or shipping container. Most of the time it’s possible to rent blankets with the truck. This is always important I say, in order to protect and secure your belongings. A 20 foot Uhaul has been a great fit for most apartment moves but a large 2 bedroom and up, may need something larger. Tie down rope is important too.. I usually get at least 100 feet or more. Should you need just labor, we can help with this as well. I’d bring dollies and extra materials to help with the process.
Some folks like to pack themselves , box things up. If so, here is a link to a place I’ve been using for almost 20 years. They have just about everything needed for packing up a move. Here is also a picture of a smaller pack job we did for an out of town move. It was a 16 foot truck and she didn’t have many blankets but we made it work. This was just the first tier and then we walled off, with a mattress and box spring and tied it off with rope.
