Moving Tips
Here are some basic tips that will help in preparing for your move! Download the full list for all of the moving tips!
1 Month Before Moving
Donate extra clothes
Sort books (keep/donate)
Contact utility companies to schedule termination date.
Make sure pet vaccinations and documentation are up to date.
2 Weeks Before Moving
Dispose of flammable pain and gas cylinders.
Inform banks/financial institutions about new address.
Forward Mail
Use up all perishable and frozen food.
Moving Day!
It’s the big game, the world series, the big day, it’s GO TIME! Whatever day you end up calling it, we’ll show up, bring the Muscle and get the job done!
Make sure you got a good night sleep!
Eat a good breakfast (fuel up)!
Make sure that you have the keys to your new place and documents all signed.
Please attempt to secure close parking. Close parking means we can move you in/out faster!
Secure your pet in an empty room or somehwere out of the way. We don’t want your fuzzy family members scared or injurect.
When we arrive, let us know if there’s anything else that needs items moved out of (ie. garage, storage unit).
Inform us if there’s anything that SHOULDN’T be moved.
How It Works
We know how stressful a move can be! So we’ll be there to give you pre-move advice, so the big move day will go off without a hitch! Here’s what you can expect…
Get an Estimate
Contact us via phone or through our contacts page. One of our team will ask a series of questions to determine the initial quote. Depending on the move, we’ll schedule an on-site (or virtual) walkthrough or request pictures/video of the items to be moved. Then email you the quote. Once approved, we can schedule the Move Day!
