Moving prices
Sometimes renting a Uhaul, Penske or Budget truck and getting some friends to help, is a great way to go. An average small one bedroom from say 78731 in Austin to Sugarland, would be approximately 900.00 to 1050.00. Its based on a mileage charge and a small hourly rate for the loading and unloading time.
Packing service and supplies if needed
If you need assistance preparing your belongings for transport, we can definitely help with that. Should you want to get your own supplies, the main place I use is Texanbox. They are in Round rock and have a lot of what anyone moving would need. An average one bedroom apartment takes about 50.00 dollars worth of supplies or less. A small home usually 100.00 to 150.00.
I also have large Gondola boxes that we can load up with clothes, pillows, small boxes, bags, pictures, etc .. Anything that doesn’t fit in a regular box or tote. These Gondola boxes can be dollied and even slid down, carried up or dollied up stairs. They are triple thick cardboard and very strong. Really very useful!.
Larger apartment moves
A 2 bedroom apartment move, from the same 78731 zip code to Sugarland, would be more like 1250.00 to 1500.00.
Things like extra packing, excessive stairs, long walks or dis assembly and re assembly, will affect the time on the loading and unloading. A lot of the bill however, is based on the mileage. Most moves can be completed in one day, by a reasonable hour. Either Austin to Houston or Houston to Austin.. and surrounding areas.
